Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. is seeking a Renovation Sales Engineer in Dubai to drive growth of the Renovation business. You will identify leads, build a sales pipeline, negotiate orders, and align solutions with client needs to increase market share and meet targets.

You will manage inquiries end-to-end, prepare estimates, develop client relationships, and secure orders while coordinating with internal teams to ensure project success and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of VT sales experience in Renovation.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; English fluency essential; Arabic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage Renovation and off-portfolio inquiries from start to finish.
• Prepare detailed estimates and quotations for upgrades and repairs.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and key contacts.
• Secure orders for Renovation and replacement projects.
• Oversee an elevator unit portfolio and customer partnerships.
• Act as primary contact for customer inquiries and resolutions.
• Generate new business via outreach, bids, and tenders.
• Develop strategic sales plans to reach targets and expand market.
• Use CRM to track opportunities, forecast results, and manage pipelines.
• Lead complex sales negotiations with industry knowledge.
• Collaborate with sales reps and field teams for project execution.

Job Description

The Renovation Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in driving the growth of Otis’s Renovation business. This position is responsible for identifying leads, building a strong sales pipeline, negotiating orders, and aligning solutions with client needs to increase market share and achieve assigned sales targets. The role also ensures full compliance with contractual obligations and internal business policies throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Renovation and off-portfolio replacement inquiries, from initial contact to project completion.
• Prepare detailed estimates and issue quotations for unit upgrades, Renovation projects, and additional repairs.
• Develop and sustain robust relationships with clients, engaging regularly with key contacts to understand and meet their evolving needs.
• Secure orders for Renovation and replacement projects, ensuring seamless integration into existing service frameworks.
• Oversee a diverse portfolio of elevator units, maintaining strong partnerships with existing customers to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
• Serve as the primary contact for resolution of customer inquiries, ensuring timely and effective communication.
• Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach, including cold calling, networking, and participation in bids and tenders.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious sales targets and expand market presence.
• Utilize CRM to track opportunities, manage pipelines, and accurately forecast sales results.
• Conduct complex sales negotiations, leveraging industry expertise to close deals successfully.
• Collaborate closely with team members, including sales representatives and field colleagues, to ensure cohesive project execution and client satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Vertical Transportation (VT) sales, specifically within the Renovation segment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate effectively across internal teams and departments.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a confident and presentable demeanor in client-facing engagements.
• Fluent written and spoken English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
