Lever, Inc. is seeking a Software Craftsperson/Typescript-II for a remote role based in the United Arab Emirates. You will own end-to-end software initiatives, build scalable backend systems with TypeScript, and deliver AI-powered features using LLMs and agentic workflows.

The role emphasizes craft, testing, and collaboration across distributed teams. Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of production software experience, strong TypeScript skills, and familiarity with OpenAI/Claude ecosystems,

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of complex production systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with production-grade TypeScript applications.
• Experience developing AI- or LLM-powered applications, including AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Experience with platforms like OpenAI, Claude, or comparable LLM ecosystems.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector databases is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own complex software initiatives end to end—from design to production readiness and ongoing improvements.
• Build and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using TypeScript with strong craftsmanship.
• Design and deliver production-ready features balancing scope, quality, performance, and maintainability.
• Build AI-powered applications and workflows using LLMs, AI agents, and agentic frameworks.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements and priorities.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing and learning culture.
