Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline.
• ACII/CII or equivalent insurance/reinsurance certifications are advantageous.
• Significant experience in facultative reinsurance, reinsurance broking, underwriting, or specialty risk placement.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end facultative reinsurance placement process from risk assessment to documentation.
• Review risks for facultative support including property, engineering, construction, energy, marine, casualty.
• Analyze risk exposures, insured values, policy terms, coverage limits and loss histories to determine reinsurance needs.
• Develop placement strategies aligned with underwriting objectives and portfolio protection.
• Coordinate with underwriting teams to assess facultative needs for large/high-value risks.
• Negotiate reinsurance terms, pricing, and contractual terms; evaluate quotations and capacity.
• Monitor progress, capacity availability, and deadlines; ensure consistency with terms.
