Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3 years in business development or related roles, a bachelor's degree, and strong communication, organization, and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in business development, client relations or related role (insurance/reinsurance preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support business development and relationship management with cedants, brokers and partners.
• Conduct market research on reinsurance trends, competitors and opportunities.
• Assist in preparing proposals, presentations and marketing materials for prospective clients.
• Coordinate meetings, roadshows and correspondence with cedants and broker partners.
• Maintain client and broker databases and development pipelines.
• Track submissions and follow up with underwriting on status of opportunities.
• Assist with reports on production, retention and business development activity.
• Support participation in industry conferences, events and renewal meetings.
