Job summary

Ethos is seeking a senior accountant to assist in training an AI model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will own close reconciliations, prepare audit schedules, and craft high-quality PBC documentation while working remotely on a flexible schedule.

The role requires 5+ years in corporate accounting or audit support, with expert GAAP knowledge and advanced spreadsheet skills. Start ASAP with ongoing, part-time commitment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate accounting, financial operations, or internal/external audit support with close reconciliations ownership.
• Deep fluency in GAAP and PBC documentation standards; spreadsheet-based control testing.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close reconciliations and journal entry packages.
• Prepare audit request schedules and PBC documentation.
• Create and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.
• Produce vendor and expense audit trail spreadsheets; support SOX testing memos.
