Job summary

Tether is hiring a Product Engineering Lead to translate our AI-driven vision into on-device features. You will lead the teams building QV.AC’s experiences on top of our local AI stack, reporting to the CTO and collaborating with product.

The role blends engineering leadership (70%) with product partnership (30%) to ship high-quality consumer-grade AI features. You’ll ensure tight engineering standards, scalable APIs, and strong collaboration with AI research teams, turning ambitious goals into

Qualifications

Experience managing engineers or engineering leads who ship consumer products, ideally AI-powered apps.
Strong product sense: you can tell a good feature from a busy one.
Intuition for applied AI and on-device constraints: model size, latency, memory, battery.
You use AI tools heavily in your own work and enjoy experimenting with new models.
Deep JavaScript and React.
Initiative, curiosity, resilience, and the ability to give and receive direct critique.

Responsibilities

Engineering – Run the app and feature teams day to day: unblocking, reviewing, and keeping them shipping.
Product Partnership – Work with product managers to turn vision into scoped, buildable work.
Leadership – Create clarity around team goals and mentor team leads.
