Job summary

Simone's Tutoring in Dubai seeks a qualified Play Therapist to deliver child-centered play therapy for ages 3–12, addressing emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs. You will create a safe space to help children express and heal through play across home, online, schools, clinics.

The role is freelance/contract with licensing requirements (DHA/DOH/MOHAP) and regulatory compliance. You will conduct assessments, provide both non-directive and directive sessions, involve parents, and document

Qualifications

• Post-graduate diploma or Master’s degree in Play Therapy.
• Licence eligibility: DHA/DOH/MOHAP to practise in the UAE.
• Registered with a recognised play therapy association (e.g. PTUK, APT).
• 2+ years post-qualification play therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial consultations and assessments with children and parents.
• Deliver non-directive and directive play therapy sessions.
• Write session notes and progress summaries.
• Liaise with schools and other professionals as needed.
