Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an Oracle DBA based in the United Arab Emirates. You will provide expert database administration across Oracle 10g, 11g, 12c, and 19c in a fully remote environment, including upgrades, migrations, tuning, high availability, and RMAN backup.

Key duties include Engineered Systems (ODA/Exadata), RAC, Data Guard, Grid Control monitoring, and multi‑OS support (Linux/OEL, Solaris, AIX/HP‑UX).

Qualifications

10+ years of professional Oracle DBA experience across 10g, 11g, 12c, 19c.
Experience with Oracle Engineered Systems (ODA/Exadata).
Proven upgrades to Oracle 19c and database migrations.
Expert RMAN backup and recovery knowledge.
Hands-on with RAC, Data Guard, and high availability.
Familiar with Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control.
Cloud experience with Oracle databases is a plus.
Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Administer Oracle environments across multiple versions, ensuring stability and performance.
Lead upgrades and migrations to optimize databases with minimal disruption.
Diagnose and tune performance across Oracle DB environments.
Manage backup and recovery with RMAN and disaster recovery processes.
Maintain high availability using RAC, Data Guard, and related technologies.
Monitor environments with Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control.
Support Engineered Systems, including ODA and Exadata.
Provide cross-functional collaboration and accurate effort estimates.
