Job summary

DeepSource Technologies in Dubai, UAE is seeking an experienced Oracle Administrator to lead and manage enterprise Oracle environments on-site. The role requires hands-on expertise with Exadata, KVM, Linux, high availability, backup and recovery, and performance optimization.

You will collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to uphold security, reliability, and scalable operations across mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on Oracle administration experience.
• Strong Oracle system administration experience.
• Experience with Oracle backup, recovery and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of Oracle HA and DR solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Nice to have Oracle certifications.
• Experience with Oracle KVM, Exadata, or Oracle Linux.
• Experience in enterprise or mission-critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle environments.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of Oracle systems.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and routine maintenance.
• Monitor system health and troubleshoot Oracle-related issues.
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Support performance tuning and capacity planning.
• Implement Oracle security best practices and manage user access.
