This is an entry-level, part-time, remote contract. Fluent Norwegian is required; you will work with coordinators to ensure consistency and provide feedback to improve guidelines. Candidates from many countries are welcome.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in transcription, linguistic annotation, or related language-focused discipline.
• Experience with transcription tools and audio-editing software is beneficial.
• Fluent Norwegian with strong grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe Norwegian audio and video into accurate written text.
• Review and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, formatting, and fidelity to the source.
• Annotate and categorize speech segments using project guidelines.
• Flag unclear audio and add contextual notes or suggested interpretations.
• Share feedback that improves transcription guidelines and workflow efficiency.
