You will design ML models for medical imaging, collaborate with clinicians and data scientists, and publish findings to advance AI in healthcare.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with focus on medical applications.
• Proven expertise in ML, DL, and statistical modeling for medical data.
• Proficiency in Python/R/Julia with medical data processing libraries (TF, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Experience with medical imaging data (MRI/CT/X-ray) and toolkits (ITK, SimpleITK, MONAI).
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed medical or AI journals.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (DICOM, HL7) and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced research environment with iterative development cycles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate ML models for medical imaging analysis and clinical decision support.
• Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, and engineers to translate research into scalable solutions.
• Publish findings in academic journals and present at conferences.
