Job summary

Hire Feed invites applications for a Computational Biology Expert to join as a full-time position. The role centers on building and deploying computational models to analyze diverse biological datasets, supporting R&D efforts across genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate biological questions into robust analytical pipelines and ensure models are validated against experimental data, delivering reproducible results for strategic research

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, or MATLAB.
• Experience with biological databases, tools, and software including BLAST, Bioconductor, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize computational models for biological data analysis, including genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics datasets.
• Design and implement algorithms to process large-scale biological datasets with a focus on accuracy and scalability.
• Collaborate with research teams to translate biological questions into computational frameworks and analytical pipelines.
• Validate and refine models using experimental data to ensure biological relevance and predictive power.
• Document methodologies, results, and findings in technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
