Job summary

Qubit Orbit, a DIFC-based SaaS company, is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day bookkeeping and financial operations across our group entities. This is a great opportunity to grow with our startup and take ownership of core finance processes from the ground up.

You will work with Xero, manage invoicing/subscriptions, assist with VAT in the UAE, and help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with Xero/QuickBooks/Zoho Books or similar.
• Fluent in English.

• Bookkeeping & Financial Records
• Invoicing & Subscription Management
• Xero-Based Accounting
• AI-Enabled Finance Workflows
• Maintain accurate books of accounts (AP/AR, GL entries)
• Reconcile bank statements and expenses monthly
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, annual financial reports
• Support UAE VAT filing and compliance
• Track vendor invoices and contractor payments
• Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking
• Support founder with ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting
