Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Java Tech Lead / Solution Architect (React, Telecom) based in United Arab Emirates. You will own the architecture for a telecom portal and integration platform while mentoring a small team of developers.

The role blends hands-on Java/Spring Boot work with strategic architectural leadership on a remote, international project. You will shape domain-driven design, REST APIs, and scalable microservices, and collaborate with UK-based stakeholders and partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of commercial Java development experience.
• At least 2 years in a Tech Lead or Solution Architect role.
• Hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, and backend services.
• Strong React/TypeScript frontend guidance capabilities.
• Experience with microservices, DDD, and event-driven patterns.
• Familiarity with TM Forum Open APIs is preferred.
• Proficiency in OAuth2, OIDC, Spring Security, and RBAC.

Responsibilities

• Own solution architecture for customer portal and integration platform.
• Lead technical discovery, define MVP architecture, and strategy.
• Design scalable systems with REST, microservices, and domain models.
• Balance architecture with hands-on development (~50/50).
• Mentor three full-stack developers and drive delivery.
• Define coding standards, quality gates, and ADRs.
• Guide React/TypeScript frontend architecture and reviews.
