Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer / Technical Writer for a project-based engagement based in United Arab Emirates.

You will transform source materials into LMS modules, learning objectives, activities, and assessments, while establishing reusable templates and governance for scalable content. You will leverage AI/LLM tools to accelerate drafting with rigorous quality control, interview stakeholders to capture workflows, and define project scope, timelines, risks, and

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in instructional design, technical writing, learning content development, or related field.
• Hands-on experience using AI/LLM tools to support content workflows.
• Strong ability to interview stakeholders and translate complex information into clear content.
• Strong written communication, attention to detail, and consistency across formats.
• Ability to manage a fixed-scope project independently from planning to delivery.
• Experience creating LMS course content, SOPs, and knowledge assets.
• Familiarity with AI-powered content and video-authoring platforms like Mindsmith or Synthesia is desirable.
• Experience with LMS implementation, governance, or knowledge management is a plus.
• Ability to define project scope, timelines, risks, and costs for RFQ proposals.
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant instructional design or process documentation work.
• Willingness to sign NDA and undergo background check.

Responsibilities

• Define standards and repeatable workflows for learning materials and documentation.
• Transform source materials into structured LMS content with modules, objectives, activities, and assessments.
• Create clear SOPs documenting processes, roles, systems, inputs and outputs.
• Use AI/LLM tools to accelerate drafting while ensuring quality control.
• Interview stakeholders to translate workflows into learner-friendly content.
• Identify topics suitable for short training videos and AI-assisted production workflows.
• Develop reusable templates, prompts, and governance assets for content development.
• Establish procedures for review, versioning, and updates.
• Own the full project scope and provide progress updates.
• Deliver project outputs in line with scope, timeline, and quality.
