Qualifications

• Experience in content creation, instructional design, training, learning development or a related discipline.
• Strong writing, editing and proofreading capability.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems or practical experience delivering training to groups of learners.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Familiarity with ADDIE, SAM or comparable learning development frameworks.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby or Perl.
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS or JavaScript is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a structured content strategy aligned with organizational priorities.
• Create clear and engaging content for digital channels, websites, newsletters and internal communication platforms.
• Edit and proofread written materials to improve accuracy, readability, consistency and tone.
• Review content before publication and ensure information reflects approved organizational requirements.
• Work with subject matter experts to gather technical and operational information.
• Validate content with stakeholders before final release.
• Convert complex source information into concise and audience-appropriate learning materials.
• Design instructional content including e-learning modules, job aids, reference guides and training manuals.
• Apply adult learning principles when designing structured learning experiences.
• Use instructional design models such as ADDIE and SAM to organize learning development activities.
• Build content that supports practical knowledge transfer and measurable learner understanding.
• Adapt instructional material for different learner groups and delivery formats.
• Support management of learning content within Learning Management Systems.
• Organize and maintain digital learning resources to ensure materials remain current and accessible.
• Assist with classroom or instructor-led learning environments when required.
• Develop presentations and supporting learning resources using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Use Microsoft Word, Excel and SharePoint to prepare, manage and organize content.
• Produce visual materials and supporting graphics using Adobe creative applications.
• Create layouts, mockups and design elements that improve the usability of learning content.
• Apply visual design standards consistently across instructional and digital materials.
• Use basic front-end development knowledge when content requires HTML, CSS or JavaScript support.
• Apply programming knowledge where needed to support technical content, automation or learning solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams when instructional material involves software or development concepts.
• Maintain version control and content consistency across multiple formats and delivery channels.
• Review existing content and identify opportunities to simplify, consolidate or improve materials.
• Support continuous improvement of content development processes.
• Contribute to emerging learning initiatives involving Machine Learning and Large Language Model concepts where relevant.
• Stay informed about changes in instructional technology, digital content tools and learning design practices.
