RemoteJobsOne is seeking an experienced Fire Dispatcher - Emergency Communications Specialist for a remote contractor role. You will contribute operational expertise to train AI systems, prioritizing and routing emergency requests using standardized protocols under high pressure.

Applicants should have significant dispatch experience, strong written and spoken communication, and familiarity with APCO/NENA standards.

Qualifications

Significant experience as a fire dispatcher or emergency communications specialist.
Exceptional multitasking across radio, phone and digital platforms.
Ability to apply and interpret standardized emergency protocols and checklists (APCO/NENA).
Clear, concise and professional written and verbal communication.
Ability to work under pressure with rapid prioritization decisions.
Familiarity with emergency dispatch workflows and protocols.
Experience contributing to training evaluation or improvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

Receive and analyze simulated or real-time emergency requests and determine urgency.
Prioritize and route resources based on established protocols.
Apply triage to information from multiple channels for timely routing.
Use dispatch scripts to maintain procedural consistency and compliance.
Document responses and communication flows for AI learning.
Suggest improvements to protocols or AI-generated responses.
Collaborate with project coordinators to meet quality standards.
