Job summary

Ethos is seeking environmental impact assessors to support training a foundational AI language model with professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated content across environmental reports, habitat surveys, and regulatory submissions, delivering high-quality outputs for regulators and clients.

We value 4+ years in ecological research or environmental consulting, expert-level document craftsmanship, and meticulous data interpretation.

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting environmental impact assessments, ecological surveys, or regulatory compliance monitoring in a consulting, government, or academic setting
• Direct experience interpreting field and lab data such as species counts, water and soil chemistry, or emissions readings and translating it into technical reports for regulators or clients
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows: environmental impact assessment reports, habitat surveys, water and soil data sheets, regulatory submissions, field study methodology and sampling protocols, and remediation proposals
• Translate field and lab data into technical reports suitable for regulators or clients
• Ensure high quality, consistent outputs aligned with project goals and regulatory requirements
