Job summary

Simone's Tutoring in Dubai seeks an experienced EAL/ESL tutor to help learners grow confidence and fluency across international curricula. Deliver personalized lessons online, at students' homes, or schools, with a flexible freelance schedule and commission-based pay.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in English or related field, MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility, and 2+ years of EAL/ESL teaching. CELTA/TEFL preferred; experience with diverse backgrounds is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
• MOHRE Tutor Permit or eligibility to obtain.
• Minimum 2 years' experience teaching EAL, ESL, or ELL.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess learners' English proficiency, learning goals, and communication needs.
• Deliver personalised EAL/ESL lessons tailored to individual learning styles.
• Teach speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational English.
• Support learners with school English, academic English, workplace English, and everyday communication.
• Develop students' confidence through interactive, communicative teaching approaches.
• Prepare learners for classroom participation and integration into English-speaking environments.
• Monitor learner progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with Simone's Tutoring specialists to support students' overall academic development.
