Job summary

Tether Operations Limited is seeking a Developer Productivity Engineer to empower QVAC application teams to build reliable software with less friction across desktop and mobile platforms. You will develop, instrument, and maintain developer tools and AI agents, integrating them into engineering workflows to shorten feedback loops and raise automation reliability.

You will work with engineers to identify impactful improvements, own them end-to-end, and help drive adoption through documentation

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining developer tools used by others; strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js skills.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools or agents with judgement about limitations, output validation, and human review.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and systematic debugging of build, test, or integration failures.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, integrate, and maintain developer tools and AI agents for engineering workflows.
• Build and operate agents in CI and scheduled workflows to investigate failures and propose fixes.
• Improve automated pull request reviews for accuracy and reduced noise for reviewers.
• Develop code quality scripts for complexity, function and file size, dependency cycles, and performance regressions.
• Collaborate with package owners on thresholds and targeted refactoring.
• Improve development environments, testing, build and release workflows, and onboarding.
