Job summary

OffSec is seeking a Student Mentor to support learners via live chat and email while assisting with exam grading and lab management. The role involves coordinating across teaching projects, reviewing coursework, and helping students succeed in challenging cybersecurity content.

The position is full-time and remote, with shift work including evenings and weekends to cover a 24/7 model. International travel may be required as needed to support customers and training events.

Qualifications

• Fluency in reading, writing, and comprehension of English.

Responsibilities

• Engage, collaborate and help students in OffSec Community Platform live chat and support email.
• Present a live stream or webinar for concept demonstration or topics related to cybersecurity.
• Participate in projects including curriculum design, learning paths and new tools implementation.
• Exam grading, test configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of OffSec lab systems.
• Create and maintain department documents, guidelines, procedures and processes.
• Ensure daily tasks and student support are completed timely and satisfactorily.
• Review accommodation requests and maintain records of decisions.
• Assist cross-functional teams as needed.
• Adapt shift schedules across time zones; may require international travel to customer locations or training conferences.
