Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of backend development experience with JavaScript/Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design secure, scalable REST APIs for the mobile app.
• Implement real-time features with Socket.IO/WebSockets.
• Work with SQL databases via Sequelize; optimize queries and indexing.
• Use Redis for caching and real-time use cases.
• Handle background jobs with BullMQ or similar.
• Maintain Firebase services and push notification integrations.
• Integrate third-party services (e.g., RevenueCat).
• Build media upload workflows on AWS S3 and CloudWatch.
• Ensure authentication, authorization, validation and security best practices.
• Monitor production, troubleshoot bottlenecks and fix performance issues.
• Maintain API docs with Swagger/OpenAPI.
