Job summary

Sharjah Islamic Bank is seeking an experienced Corporate Banking Relationship Manager to acquire, manage and develop commercial client relationships for funded and non-funded facilities, with a focus on profitability and credit quality.

You will achieve annual targets for assets and liabilities, ensure compliance with Sharia requirements, oversee portfolio performance, identify cross-selling opportunities, and maintain high standards of service and ethics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• 6–7 years of corporate banking experience in relationship management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and T24 software.
• English proficiency; Arabic also required.

Responsibilities

• Endeavor to increase new relationship with high standards of customer service and delivery.
• Achieve assigned annual target for both assets & liabilities, including new relationship.
• Ensure accurate analysis to customer request.
• Prepare an annual target list in consultation with the HOD.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and integrity in dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Ensure effective follow up and monitoring of account to avoid down grading and delinquency.
• Achieve assigned portfolio profitability through increasing limit utilization, fees and commission and ancillary business.
• Ensure a well-diversified portfolio and avoid concentration.
• Ensure visiting clients premises at least on quarterly basis.
• Ensure compliance with the Banks policies and Sharia requirements.
• Ensure collecting all security documents.
• Identify cross selling opportunities.

JOB PURPOSE

The role consists of acquiring, managing and developing commercial relationships with customers for assets (funded and non-funded). The role should focus on increasing profitability and improving overall credit quality. Managing the client's portfolio while making investigations and formulated proposals concerning the applicant's facilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Ensure compliance with consumer protection standards including treating customers fairly, providing accurate information about products or services, responding promptly and courteously to inquiries, complaints, and feedback, protecting customer data, identifying and reporting any suspicious or fraudulent activities, continuously improving customer service and keeping abreast of regulatory expectations and SIB Conduct Risk Framework and associated procedures

The employee should demonstrate a thorough understanding of Consumer Protection Regulations and adhere to the bank's standards for fair treatment of customers, ethical conduct, prompt resolution of customer complaints, provide accurate and comprehensive information to customers, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor Degree

Minimum Experience : At least 6-7 years banking experience in corporate banking inrelationship management.

Computers/ Systems / Software Skills :MS Office - T24 Software - Intermediate
