Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks a civil engineer or drafter to produce detailed reinforcement drawings for structural elements, develop rebar shop drawings, and ensure compliance with project specs.

You will coordinate with engineers and project teams, review drawings for accuracy, and maintain revision control to meet deadlines. The role requires 2–3 years of rebar detailing experience and proficiency in CADS RC, AutoCAD, or Rebar CAD.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in rebar detailing.
• Strong experience using CADS RC, AutoCAD, or Rebar CAD.
• Good knowledge of reinforcement detailing and structural drawings.
• Good understanding of bar bending schedules and reinforcement requirements.
• Ability to interpret engineering and construction drawings accurately.
• Good knowledge of rebar sizes, spacing, bending, laps, anchorage, and related detailing requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with engineers and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed reinforcement drawings for structural elements in accordance with project requirements.
• Prepare accurate bar bending schedules BBS Read interpret and understand structural and architectural drawings
• Develop rebar shop drawings and fabrication drawings
• Ensure reinforcement details comply with project specifications structural drawings and applicable standards
• Coordinate with engineers project teams and other departments to resolve detailing issues
• Review drawings for accuracy dimensions bar sizes spacing laps bends and quantities
• Make revisions to drawings based on engineering comments and project requirements
• Coordinate reinforcement details with structural requirements and construction needs
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control of drawings
• Identify discrepancies or clashes in drawings and communicate them to the relevant team
• Ensure all drawings are completed accurately and within project deadlines
