Job summary

Azizi Developments is seeking a qualified engineer to prepare detailed shop drawings and reinforcement details for precast concrete elements. The role involves creating precise 2D/3D models from structural and architectural drawings and coordinating with structural, architectural, and MEP teams.

You will interpret drawings, incorporate reinforcement and connections, and ensure compliance with project standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 3–6 years relevant experience in precast detailing, shop drawings or structural detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant detailing software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings fabrication drawings erection drawings and reinforcement details for precast concrete elements
• Develop accurate 2D and 3D models of precast components based on structural and architectural drawings
• Detail precast elements such as walls beams columns slabs stairs facade panels balconies and other precast components
• Interpret structural drawings design calculations specifications and architectural information
• Incorporate reinforcement embedded items lifting anchors connections openings inserts and other required details into drawings
• Ensure drawings comply with approved structural designs project specifications and applicable standards
• Coordinate precast designs with structural architectural MEP and other disciplines
• Identify design discrepancies clashes constructability issues and dimensional conflicts and coordinate resolutions with engineers
• Prepare bar bending schedules reinforcement details material take-offs and relevant fabrication information
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments engineering changes RFIs and site requirements
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure drawings are practical and suitable for manufacturing
• Coordinate with site teams regarding erection sequences connections dimensions and installation requirements
• Ensure proper identification numbering and tracking of precast elements
• Maintain drawing registers revision histories and document-control records
• Conduct drawing checks to ensure accuracy completeness and consistency before submission
• Participate in technical coordination meetings with engineers consultants contractors and project teams
• Support preparation of as-built drawings and final project documentation
• Assist in resolving fabrication and erection issues related to precast components

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• 3–6 years relevant experience in precast detailing, shop drawings or structural detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant detailing software.
• UAE/GCC precast experience mandatory.
