Dune Strategy in Dubai is seeking a Regulatory Research Analyst to join a compact, senior team. You will read regulatory texts, map how controls operate, and prepare precise notes used directly in partner discussions.
You will build briefing material for meetings, track regulatory pathways over weeks or months, validate numbers and filings, and write clear, sourced conclusions for clients navigating complex regional regulation.
Dune Strategy is a management consulting firm based in Dubai. We advise international investors, family groups and sovereign-linked entities on the commercial decisions that define their position in the region: market entry, regional expansion, transactions, joint ventures. The firm works from a current reading of the market, including how family ownership dynamics, regulatory shifts and sovereign capital priorities actually influence outcomes.
We keep the portfolio small on purpose. Partners stay in the commercial conversations where decisions get shaped, and research reaches the people making the call rather than being filtered on the way up. Clients come to us when a decision needs a real understanding of local counterparties and operating conditions that cannot be managed from a distant head office.
The Regulatory Research Analyst sits at the front end of that work: reading the rules, tracking the path, and writing the note a partner actually uses.
None of these are requirements. They are simply useful starting points, and we would rather read a clear note than a long list of credentials.
After a year, you can take a question from a partner and come back with a briefing that stands on its own: the position, the reasoning, the open risks. You spot the commercial call earlier than you did on day one, because you have watched enough decisions move to recognise the shape of one. Counterparties know your name and answer your calls. You are trusted to sit in on a conversation and write the note that comes out of it, and the partners have stopped checking your sources because they no longer need to.
