Job summary

Amana Healthcare in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Registered Nurse for Long-Term Care to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to residents with chronic illnesses and age-related conditions. You will provide comprehensive nursing care based on individualized plans and work with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include health assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, family education, and ensuring infection control and accurate documentation in line with DOH/DHA

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience is required.
• Experience in Medical/Surgical or ICU is preferred.
• DOH or DHA license/eligibility is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to long-term care residents based on individualized care plans.
• Perform health assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate changes in residents’ conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Coordinate and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses and nursing assistants as required.
• Educate residents and families on care plans, medications, and health conditions.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety policies, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
• Advocate for resident rights, dignity, and person-centered care.

The Registered Nurse – Long‑Term Care provides continuous, high‑quality nursing care to residents with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or age‑related conditions.
