Job summary

NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, compassionate care and to advocate for patients and families. The role requires clinical proficiency, effective communication in English, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to uphold our nursing strategy.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active registered nurse license in the relevant regulatory authority.
• Maintain professional re-licensure as required.
• English communication (spoken and written) is essential.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, educating patients and the public about various health conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.
• Assess and identify patients' needs and implement and monitor the patient's medical plan and treatment.
• Perform systematic patient assessment and collect pertinent data about health or situation.
• Understand and analyse assessment information and data.
• Determine nursing diagnoses, problems, and issues.
• Create and evaluate patient care plans with the interprofessional team.
• Record vital signs and monitor abnormalities.
• Maintain and update clinical skills related to nursing practice.
• Facilitate safe patient admission, transfer and discharge.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Provide wound care management and assist in procedures as needed.
