Coinbase, Inc. is building its regulated presence in the Middle East, and this role sits at the center of that expansion in Abu Dhabi.

You'll drive Coinbase's UAE crypto strategy, manage critical regulatory relationships, and build the operational foundation for our growing business. Lead the locally based Abu Dhabi team, engage regulators, clients, and industry stakeholders, and ensure governance, controls, and alignment with global standards as Coinbase grows in the region.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in financial services with securities experience.
• Understanding of ADGM/FSRA regulatory requirements (FSMR, COBS, MIR, AML).
• Experience building governance structures and day-to-day oversight.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the Abu Dhabi team, engaging regulators, clients, and industry stakeholders.
• Develop and execute UAE crypto strategy in collaboration with regional teams.
• Grow tokenization and related opportunities while aligning with global standards.
• Oversee budgeting, resourcing, and governance to maximize impact.
• Establish controls, compliance programs, and risk oversight.
• Maintain strong regulator relationships with ADGM and FSRA.
