Job summary

Coinbase is seeking an Operations Manager to scale its regulated presence in Abu Dhabi, partnering with the Senior Executive Officer to drive operational excellence across trading, staking, and custody operations.

You will implement policies, risk management, and supervision frameworks, coordinate with banks and regulators, and lead cross-functional initiatives with Legal, Compliance, Security, Finance, Product, and Customer Service.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Middle East financial services, management or strategy consulting, or operations strategy.
• Experience within a regulated investment dealer environment, with focus on trade supervision across crypto, equities, or derivatives.
• Ability to develop new processes and improve workflows to drive operational efficiency.
• Strong collaboration with senior management and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage operational functions within ADGM, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Implement operational policies, SLA frameworks, and risk management processes.
• Establish supervision frameworks for trading, staking, and custody operations.
• Build resilience with risk identification, contingency planning, and incident response.
• Coordinate responses to operational incidents with internal stakeholders, regulators, and providers.
• Develop relationships with banks and regulators to communicate risk strategies.
• Project manage cross-functional operations and risk initiatives with Legal, Compliance, Security, Finance, Product, and CS.
• Support first-line-of-defense activities including launch assessments, staffing, and audits.
