Tether Ltd. in the United Arab Emirates seeks an organized regulatory affairs professional to lead efforts in the Middle East.

You will translate policy objectives into favorable regulatory requirements for the company’s crypto-asset operations and oversee regulatory strategy across ME region. The role requires deep regulatory/financial services experience, strong stakeholder management, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Finance, and Technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years governmental affairs / regulatory affairs / legal experience ideally within financial services or crypto-asset industry in the Middle East.
• Proven ability to lead regulatory affairs teams within the financial services or digital asset industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to synthesise complex regulatory topics for non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across borders and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory developments impacting Tether and affiliates in the region.
• Maintain active relationships with policymakers, regulators, central banks, and financial intelligence units.
• Represent the company in consultations, workshops, industry roundtables, and regulatory dialogues.
• Prepare briefing papers, comment letters, and policy submissions aligned with broader global regulatory strategy.
• Identify and realise opportunities to shape emerging frameworks in a risk-sensitive, innovation-oriented manner.
