Job summary

Energy Jobline SS is supporting a global manufacturer of engineered electrical interconnect, power and signal solutions in appointing an experienced Operations Manager for its Middle East business, based in Sharjah.

This role will lead daily regional operations across shipping, logistics, warehousing and order fulfilment, ensuring compliant, on‑time delivery while driving efficiency and customer service across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and wider Middle East.

Qualifications

Experience in operations, logistics or distribution in UAE or Middle East.
Experience in manufacturing/engineering environments would be advantageous.
Strong knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding, customs.
Experience managing warehousing, inventory control and order fulfilment.
Proven ability to improve processes and delivery performance.
Commercial awareness to manage logistics costs and suppliers.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Epicor, SAP).

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations across the Sharjah business including shipping and warehousing.
Manage inbound/outbound shipments across the Middle East with on-time delivery.
Oversee freight forwarders, couriers and third-party partners.
Coordinate with Procurement and manufacturing facilities for material availability.
Maintain inventory controls and warehouse processes; improve stock utilisation.
Develop KPIs for delivery, inventory, freight, and customer service.
Identify process improvements to reduce costs and enable growth.
Ensure UAE import/export compliance and trade documentation.
Lead and develop local operations and logistics team.
