Key Responsibilities

• Support the country business plan and Communication and Interior Design action plan through targeted interior design initiatives linked to commercial priorities.
• Strengthen IKEA 's position as a leader in life at home by applying strong home furnishing expertise across regional and store activities.
• Adapt global interior design concepts into locally relevant solutions that reflect market demographics, living conditions, affordability, and customer aspirations.
• Develop regional guidelines for functional, attractive, and commercially effective home furnishing presentations.
• Translate customer insights from home visits, visitor feedback, brand research, and market observations into actionable design improvements.
• Support the delivery of home furnishing direction across stores in line with annual business objectives.
• Create market-relevant interior design input for commercial campaigns, social media, and other customer communication channels.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on omnichannel campaigns by developing home furnishing solutions that reflect local customer needs.
• Protect the uniqueness of IKEA brand identity across range presentation, room settings, homes, vignettes, and sales support areas.
• Review store presentation standards and provide guidance on improvements that strengthen both commercial impact and brand consistency.
• Act as an interior design expert for store development, refurbishment, expansion, and commercial planning projects.
• Support decision-making related to store layouts, presentation zones, customer flow, and home furnishing displays.
• Mentor Interior Designers within Communication and Interior Design teams across IKEA stores.

Ideal Profile
