Job summary

Tether and its affiliated entities are seeking a highly organized regulatory affairs leader to drive policy, licensing, and strategic regulatory initiatives in the Middle East region. The role involves engaging with regulators, translating policy objectives into workable regional requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business expansion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years governmental/regulatory affairs experience in the Middle East.
• Experience with financial services or crypto-asset regulation is highly valued.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-border regulatory discussions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory developments impacting Tether in the region.
• Maintain relationships with policymakers, regulators, central banks, and FIUs.
• Represent the company in regulatory dialogues and consultations.
• Prepare policy submissions and briefing papers aligned with global strategy.
• Lead licensing/registration assessments and obtain regional authorisations where required.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Technology, and Business Development.
