Job summary

Unilever Arabia seeks an Assistant Manager - Data & BI to own the commercial data, BI and analytics ecosystem across 6 GCC markets. You will manage data pipelines, models and master data, turning data into reliable dashboards and insights for CBD and CSP stakeholders.

You will lead a small team of analysts, enabling data-driven Joint Business Planning and reviews. The role requires 7+ years in BI/analytics, strong Power BI and SQL skills, and experience with Python for automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Business or related field.
• 7+ years in business intelligence, commercial analytics or data roles, ideally in FMCG, retail or ecommerce.
• Strong command of Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query) and SQL.
• Python for data processing, automation and matching/ML (pandas, RapidFuzz, scikit-learn or similar).
• Solid understanding of FMCG commercial metrics: sell-in, sell-out, market share, trade stocks, DOC/DRR, P&L.
• Proven track record of building reporting from scratch and automating manual processes.
• Ability to explain data simply to non-technical and senior audiences, and experience leading a small analytics team.

Responsibilities

• Lead data management and governance across 1,700+ files and multiple data domains.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for regional commercial analytics.
• Build and optimize ETL pipelines (Power Query, Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory, Databricks).
• Manage row-level security, access, and deployment of reports and dashboards.
• Lead a team of up to 6 analysts and prioritise analytics roadmap with stakeholders.
• Onboard new data sources and markets into the regional data ecosystem.
