Job summary

talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, seeks a Manager of Communications to lead regional PR, media relations, and crisis communications, shaping how the brand is seen by consumers, partners, and the media. You will report to the Regional Director of Communications and partner with Marketing to deliver consistent, measurable brand coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
• 6–8 years experience in public relations or communications roles, preferably in food tech or related sectors.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a flair for crafting compelling stories and messages.
• Ability to think strategically, develop PR plans, and execute campaigns aligned with business goals.
• Experience handling crisis situations and maintaining a positive brand image during challenging times.
• Adept at working in cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration across departments.
• Proven track record of achieving PR objectives and delivering measurable results.
• Familiarity with digital media platforms, social media, and PR analytics tools.
• Creative and innovative approach to PR campaigns and storytelling.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute integrated communications strategies to strengthen talabat’s reputation and thought leadership across the region.
• Drive proactive narrative development around corporate priorities including innovation, partnerships, sustainability, and regulatory positioning.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier-1 media across the region, ensuring consistent coverage and positive brand sentiment.
• Support C-level and regional leaders with tailored messaging, executive visibility opportunities, media training, and thought leadership content.
• Draft and edit high-quality press releases, op-eds, speeches, Q&A, and corporate storytelling across channels.
• Monitor the media landscape, identify opportunities and risks, and provide timely counsel to leadership.
• Support on sensitive issues, managing risk and crisis communications with speed and alignment.
• Partner closely with Public Affairs, Marketing, Finance and other functions to ensure unified corporate reputation efforts across all markets.
