Job summary

Our client, a global listed organisation, is hiring a Regional Business Controller to provide financial leadership and commercial support across UAE, KSA, Egypt and India. You will partner with regional leadership, lead forecasting, month-end closing and reporting, and drive financial governance in a multinational setting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key finance partner to regional leadership, providing commercial insight and financial guidance.
• Lead the regional forecasting, profit planning and month-end processes.
• Deliver high-quality management reporting and analysis, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Country Managers and operational leadership across markets.
• Support commercial projects, bids and tender evaluations, including financial and risk assessment.
• Drive working capital performance and cash generation initiatives.
• Oversee balance sheet reviews, capex processes and audits.
• Ensure adherence to financial reporting standards, controls and governance.
• Drive continuous improvement, process optimisation and automation across regional finance activities.

Our client is a global listed organisation with a significant international footprint and operations across multiple markets. Operating within a complex, multinational environment, the business is looking to appoint an experienced Regional Business Controller to provide financial leadership and commercial support across a diverse regional operation.

The Role

Working closely with the Regional Business Line Director and senior leadership, this is a highly visible finance position combining commercial finance, business partnering, FP&A and financial control. The successful candidate will provide financial oversight across UAE, KSA, Egypt and India, ensuring strong financial governance while providing the insight required to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Act as a key finance partner to regional leadership, providing commercial insight, challenge and financial guidance.
• Lead the regional forecasting, profit planning and month-end performance processes.
• Deliver high-quality management reporting and analysis, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities.
• Partner with Country Managers and operational leadership across multiple markets.
• Support commercial projects, bids and tender evaluations, including financial and risk assessment.
• Drive working capital performance and support initiatives to improve cash generation.
• Oversee balance sheet reviews, capex processes and statutory and internal audits.
• Ensure adherence to global financial reporting standards, controls and governance.
• Drive continuous improvement, process optimisation and automation across regional finance activities.

The Candidate

We are looking for a commercially minded finance professional who is comfortable operating in a complex, international and operationally focused environment.

The successful candidate will ideally bring:

• Western Qualified
• Strong experience across commercial finance, FP&A, financial control and business partnering.
• Experience supporting multi-country or regional operations.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful commercial insight.
• Confidence engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
• Experience working within a large, international organisation would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
