The Recreation Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Recreation Department ensuring effective coordination of daily activities staffing scheduling training documentation communication and departmental requirements in line with resort standards
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily administrative activities and operational requirements of the Recreation Department
- Prepare and maintain staff schedules

- Coordinate daily briefings and ensure relevant resort and departmental information is communicated to the team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee training inventory and operational records
- Support recruitment activities including interview coordination onboarding and new team member documentation
- Coordinate departmental training programs and monitor completion of required training
- Assist with preparing reports statistics and other departmental documentation as required
- Monitor departmental supplies equipment and inventory ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained
- Support the department in monitoring expenses and maintaining effective cost control
- Coordinate with HR and other departments on staffing employee-related matters and administrative requirements
- Assist in ensuring departmental procedures health and safety requirements and resort standards are followed and kept up to date
- Support team leaders and management with day-to-day administrative and coordination requirements
- Maintain effective communication with team members and other departments
- Ensure required information is updated in relevant resort systems including PMS and FSI
- Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned by management

Experience & Qualifications
Previous administrative or coordination experience, preferably within a resort, hotel, recreation, leisure, or similar environment. Experience supporting a large team or department is advantageous. Experience with staff scheduling, training coordination, reporting, and HR-related administration is preferred. Knowledge of PMS/FSI or similar operational systems is an advantage.
