Job summary

Flip retail is seeking a General Accountant for its Real Estate Division based in Sharjah, UAE. The role covers the full accounting cycle, including consolidation and quarterly VAT filing, with responsibilities spanning reconciliations, audits, reporting, and tax compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in audit duties within property or investment firms, strong English skills, and a relevant degree (with CA/CPA preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Audit, Finance, or a related field.
• Master's in Commerce or professional certifications (CA/CPA) preferred.
• Strong English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
• Coordinate and complete yearly audits, review financial reports and supporting documents as needed.
• Assess and report on financial position, including income statement variances, and communicate outcomes to management; assist in budgeting and analysis.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective action as needed.
• Oversee accounts payable function.
• Manage taxes and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
