Job summary

Nationwide Middle East Properties LLC in Abu Dhabi, UAE, seeks an experienced Accountant with a Real Estate Developer background to manage accounting operations, project financials, customer receivables and broker commissions.

The role requires IFRS, UAE VAT knowledge, advanced Excel and ERP/CRM experience, plus collaboration with Sales and Finance to ensure accurate revenue recognition and escrow handling across development projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years accounting experience in UAE.
• Minimum 3 years in a real estate developer company.
• Experience calculating commissions for brokers and sales teams.
• Strong understanding of off-plan sales, escrow accounts, revenue recognition, and real estate cycles.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/CRM experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records and ledgers for the developer projects.
• Prepare project financials, reports, and cash flow analysis.
• Manage payables/receivables and reconciliations.
• Record project costs, budgets, and cost allocations.
• Handle escrow accounts and revenue recognition related to development.
• Calculate and process broker and sales commissions; manage adjustments.
