Job summary

Confidential Careers seeks an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman for a major Railway Project in the UAE. You will prepare and modify detailed AutoCAD drawings and shop/construction/as-built drawings, coordinating with Civil, Structural, MEP, and other disciplines.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related field and at least 5 years of AutoCAD Drafting experience, with railway/infrastructure project exposure strongly preferred. UI/On-site work in UAE.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman.
• Railway, Metro, or major infrastructure project experience is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify detailed AutoCAD drawings based on engineering designs, specifications, and site requirements.
• Prepare shop drawings, construction drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed layouts.
• Coordinate drawings with Civil, Structural, MEP, and other railway disciplines.
• Review drawings and incorporate comments from engineers, consultants, and project teams.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, specifications, and approved designs.
• Maintain proper revision control and drawing records.
• Assist engineers with technical drawings and documentation.
• Coordinate with site teams to reflect actual site conditions in drawings.
• Prepare drawings for submission and approval.
