Job summary

Keolis in Dubai seeks a Power Distribution System Interface lead to align electrical interfaces with rail operations. You will coordinate engineering and operations teams, ensuring reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance across substations and traction power.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Power Engineering, extensive rail industry experience, and strong leadership to mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree holder or higher diploma in Electrical or Power Engineering discipline and/or relevant professional qualification.
• Experience in the rail or infrastructure industry, preferably in power systems operations or maintenance.
• Proven experience managing electrical systems such as substations, traction power, UPS, and LV distribution.
• Experience in engineering-maintenance coordination ensuring alignment between power, system, and operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of metro systems, traction substations, and Operations Control Centre (OCC) functions.
• Experience in metro or tram interface management roles related to power distribution.
• Background in electrical maintenance planning, configuration control, or reliability engineering.
• Hands-on experience in incident management and service recovery within a regulated environment.
• Exposure to performance regime management and KPI-driven operational improvement.
• Prior experience liaising with utilities, regulatory authorities, or government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all Power Distribution System interface activities between Engineering and Operations teams to ensure compliance with contractual, electrical, and safety standards.
• Develop, review, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), configuration plans, and maintenance interface work instructions related to power systems.
• Oversee electrical inspection programs, performance monitoring, and system audits in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Ensure timely resolution of PDS interface issues impacting power supply, reliability, or safety.
• Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and promote continuous improvement within the engineering team.
