Hitachi Rail is seeking an enthusiastic Senior Power Supply & Traction Power Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi team. The role involves engineering and commissioning activities for contact line systems, with a focus on traction power and electrical systems within a railway environment.

The candidate should have 5 to 10 years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering, and be able to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or Information Technology.
• Clear Criminal Background Check.

Aufgaben

• Plan and oversee commissioning activities for Contact Line and related subsystems.
• Coordinate with Testing and Commissioning teams to ensure test planning aligns with project schedule.
• Ensure adherence to engineering guidelines, quality standards, and cost constraints.
• Interface with Commissioning Manager for on-site test execution and reporting.
• Identify and resolve interfaces between subsystems (e.g., Signalling, CW, Trackwork).
• Support knowledge capitalization and sharing of best practices and lessons learned.
