Job summary

NAFFCO seeks a Research and Development Officer to support the development, testing and improvement of products, processes and technical documentation. You will plan experiments, analyse results and work with cross-functional teams to translate findings into practical solutions that comply with regulatory and quality requirements.

You will manage data collection and analysis, maintain audit-ready records and contribute to scalable process improvements within a collaborative, multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, Applied Science or related discipline
• 2+ years’ experience in research, product development or laboratory roles within a relevant industry
• Practical experience with experimental design, testing methodologies and data analysis
• Strong technical writing skills for reports, procedures and specifications

Responsibilities

• Design and plan experiments, prototypes and trials in line with project objectives and resource constraints
• Collect, record and analyse experimental data using appropriate statistical and analytical methods
• Support development of new products or enhancements, including materials selection and prototype refinement
• Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, test records and data files; upload reports to the document management system
