Job summary

Anchor Allied Factory in the UAE is seeking an experienced R&D Chemist to lead polyurethane foam formulation and product development, with hands-on expertise in PU foam chemistry and OC F.

You will develop and optimize PU foam and prepolymer formulations, conduct laboratory trials, test products, troubleshoot formulations, evaluate new raw materials, and support scale-up from lab to production while coordinating with Production and QC teams for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master in chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years in PU foam R&D/ formulation.
• Hands-on lab experience with PU formulations and testing.
• Experience with OC F is preferred.
• Familiarity with raw materials like MDI, polyols and catalysts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize PU Foam formulations.

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced R&D professional with strong hands-on experience in Polyurethane Foam formulation and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize PU Foam formulations
• Experience in One Component PU Foam (OCF) will be highly preferred
• Develop and optimize PU prepolymer formulations
• Conduct laboratory trials, product testing and formulation troubleshooting
• Evaluate new raw materials and support cost optimization
• Support scale-up from laboratory to production
• Work with Production and QC teams for product improvement

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Polyurethane chemistry
• Hands-on experience in PU Foam R&D / Formulation
• Knowledge of MDI, polyols, catalysts, surfactants and additives
• OCF / aerosol PU foam experience is an added advantage
• Experience in construction chemicals, adhesives or sealants will be preferred

Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
