Job summary

Flip retail is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for pre-tender activities in the UAE. The role involves evaluating tender files, preparing query bundles, and coordinating with subcontractors to resolve discrepancies in drawings and BOQs.

Candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or QS, 4+ years in high-rise towers in UAE, and strong Excel and Planswift Liftoff skills for steel reinforcement estimation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 4 years experience in high-rise commercial and residential towers in UAE.
• Excellent Excel skills and Planswift Liftoff experience; steel reinforcement estimation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Tender Files including illustrations, requirements and quantities.
• Prepare necessary query bundles for the task and respond to subcontractors' inquiries.
• Examine disparities between Illustrations, Specifications and Bill of Quantities.
• Prepare Tender Queries to obtain explanations on unclear items.
• Conduct comprehensive quantity take-offs for civil, structural and architectural works.
• Enter take-off measurements to finalize the cost of quantities and prepare comparisons.
