Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UAE seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team on high-profile projects. The role focuses on post-contract commercial management, re-measurement, and final accounts across multiple sectors.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Quantity Surveying, 5+ years post-degree experience in contracts and commercial management, and proficiency with CostX or similar QS software. FIDIC exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with FIDIC contracts.
• Min 5 years post-degree experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in high-rise office or residential sectors.
• Consultant and/or client background for minimum 4 years.
• Proficient in CostX or similar QS software.

Responsibilities

• Post-contract commercial contract administration including re-measurement and interim/final accounts.
• Assess payment applications and prepare monthly cost reports.
• Manage variations, contractor claims, provisional sums and prime costs.
• Oversee insurances, bonds and attendance at design and commercial meetings.

Job Description Overview

AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.

Your role: Post Contract Commercial Contract Administration incl re-measurement, interim and final account payment application assessments, Monthly Cost Reports, variations, contractors claims, Provisional Sums, Prime Costs, Nominated Sub-Contractors, insurances and bonds management, attendance of design and commercial meetings etc.

About you

Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts preferred. Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university. Min 5 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management. Experience in one of the following key sectors: High rise office or residential. Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years. Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required. Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
