Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the UAE is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team on newly awarded projects across high-rise, office, and residential sectors. You will work on post-contract activities, cost control, and commercial administration on projects throughout the UAE.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Quantity Surveying, at least 5 years post-degree experience, knowledge of CostX or similar QS software, and strong English writing and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying from a recognised university.
• Minimum 5 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in high-rise office or residential sectors.
• Knowledge of CostX or similar QS software.
• Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Contract administration including re-measurement, interim and final accounts, and variations.
• Manage monthly cost reports, contractor claims, and insurances.
• Attend design and commercial meetings and oversee subcontractor relationships.

Overview

AtkinsRéalis are currently looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across varying sectors and various locations within UAE.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within in UAE.

Your role

Post Contract

• Commercial Contract Administration incl re-measurement, interim and final account payment application assessments, Monthly Cost Reports, variations, contractors claims, Provisional Sums, Prime Costs, Nominated Sub-Contractors, insurances and bonds management, attendance of design and commercial meetings etc.

About You

• Previous experience of FIDIC Contracts preferred.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying from recognised university.
• Min 5 years post-degree relevant experience in contracts and commercial management.
• Experience in one of the following key sectors: High rise office or residential
• Must have consultant and/or client background for minimum of 4 years.
• Knowledge in the use of QS software Cost X or similar is required.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Possess good project background and proven English language technical writing ability and skills.
