Position Overview
Al-Futtaim Engineering & Technologies is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor Manager to provide commercial and contractual leadership across major MEP and engineering projects. The role focuses on ensuring financial control, contract compliance, cost optimization, and stakeholder satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in cost management, contract administration, and risk mitigation within large-scale construction or engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain overall financial control and ensure all project costs, forecasts, and cash flows are accurately managed.
- Prepare and monitor turnover projections, cash forecasts, and financial performance reports for complex projects.
- Process variations, claims, and change orders in accordance with contractual and governance frameworks.
- Administer project contracts, prepare claims, and manage negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
- Conduct risk reviews, implement mitigation plans, and ensure alignment with company and contractual standards.
- Lead the Quantity Surveying team, providing mentorship, training, and performance oversight to ensure consistent quality.
- Establish and enforce commercial procedures that enhance profitability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with project teams, legal, and finance departments to manage contractual obligations and certifications.
- Engage effectively with clients and stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and deliver commercial objectives.
- Ensure compliance with Al-Futtaim Group policies, FIDIC contract conditions, and best practices in project management.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale projects, preferably in MEP contracting or engineering.
- Strong expertise in FIDIC-based contracts, commercial management, and claims administration.
- Proven experience in risk management, change management, and negotiation on high-value projects.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing multidisciplinary commercial teams.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and project management software.
- UAE or Middle East regional experience preferred.
