Job summary

AECOM Middle East Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure Commercial Control in Dubai to lead cost management, measurement, and contractual reporting for major roads and infrastructure projects. Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of professional quantity surveying experience within infrastructure projects.
  • Strong background in roads and major civil infrastructure delivery.
  • Detailed knowledge of quantity measurement, cost management, budgeting, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

  • Manage quantity surveying activities for roads, transportation, and wider infrastructure works.
  • Review project measurements, quantities, cost information, and supporting commercial documentation for accuracy.
  • Analyze technical and survey information that affects measurement, valuation, and project cost reporting.
  • Support preparation and maintenance of project budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and financial control records.
  • Monitor variations and changes to determine potential commercial and contractual implications.
  • Assist with change control procedures and maintain clear records of approved, pending, and disputed adjustments.
  • Apply established cost and contract management techniques throughout project delivery.
  • Review project information from engineering, survey, and construction teams to support reliable quantity assessment.
  • Verify measurements, calculations, and supporting data before incorporating them into commercial reports.
  • Produce clear reports, schedules, summaries, and cost-related documentation for project stakeholders.
  • Use cost management software and digital systems to maintain organized commercial information.
  • Contribute to commercial team leadership and coordination on major infrastructure assignments.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal departments to resolve commercial matters.
  • Support assessment of payment quantities and other measurable project deliverables where required.
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling contractual, financial, and commercially sensitive project data.

  • Present commercial findings and recommendations clearly to project leadership and stakeholders.
